Fire District #6 Burn Ban
Summary: Lincoln County Fire Protection District - Burn Ban starting June 29th, 2016 on all land within District #6 and protected by District #6. The Burn Ban will be in effect through September 30, 2016 or until fire dangers abate.
All outdoor burning will not be permitted, with the exception of approved propane cooking devices or propane fire pits.
The Burn Ban applies to all land with the boundaries of Lincoln County Fire Protection District 06 including the Towns of I lan-ington, Mohler and Downs.

The City Council of Harrington approved Ordinance #488 pertaining to the licensing, vaccination, and registration requirements of dogs; prohibiting dogs from running at large within the corporate limits of the City of Harrington; or creating a public nuisance by barking; proper disposal of animal waste; authorizing the impoundment and destruction of dogs; providing for civil penalties; and superseding all other ordinances in conflict.
Following is the fees and fines schedule that went into effect on May 31, 2014.

YEARLY LICENSING FEE:
$15.00 (spayed or neutered)
$25.00 (not spayed or neutered)
(Each dog must be licensed by the last business day in May)
LICENSE FEE AFTER LAST BUSINESS DAY IN MAY: $30.00 (spayed or neutered)
$50.00 (not spayed or neutered)
CITATION FOR EACH NON-LICENSED DOG: $100.00
DOG AT LARGE (ABLE TO BE APPREHENDED)
First offense: $50.00
Second offense: $100.00
Third, and subsequent, offense(s) $150.00
DOG AT LARGE (UNABLE TO BE APPREHENDED)
First offense: $100.00
